I first dicovered this wonderful breed in 2016 when I purchased my first show dog from Rick Carter - Adrahil Chihuahuas, and then went on to purchase my second show puppy from him around a month later.. I started show handling lessons with Ashley Reid in Feb 2017 and my first show was in March the Victorian Chihuahua Club Specialy show. From there I did some more handling lessons and went to to doing some all breeds shows in May and from there I was hooked. Showing and breeding is my passion I love this wonderful breed and the joy the dogs bring.
Im forever grateful to the following wonderful breeders who have trusted me with thier dogs and with using their beautiful stud dogs, they have set me up for my future with this beautiful breed.

In 2022 we welcomed 'Mad' Multi Ch Misty Meadow's Mad About You (Imp Ita) to Caliya Chihuahuas all the way from Italy. I'm forever grateful to his breeders Francesco Cochetti and Tuula Lehtinen-Cochetti from Misty Meadow's Kennels for allowing Mad to come to Australia. He is an asset to my breeding program.
We aim to breed correct, sound, healthy dogs and most important with fabulous tempraments.
